This is a beautiful realistic tall stoneware birch vase. It is 16 1/2" tall and 8" across with a full sculpted cardinal resting on its edge. There are also some sculpted mushrooms at the bottom.
The finish on the outside is a matt finish in my birch bark style. The inside is a gloss blue and brown glaze. There is a knot hole near the top of the vase.
It also makes an awesome amplifier, just drop your phone in :)
Each vase I made is one of a kind and slightly different from others that I make. I texture them and use underglaze as well to make them as realistic as possible. The inside is a nice shiny glaze.
This is a large piece and expensive to ship, best would be to come to my home studio to pick it up.
I personally love them with just some dry branches or pussy willows.
This would make an awesome gift for anyone if you dont keep it yourself :)
