This is for a large speckled stoneware birch bark mug. Making birch bark pottery is how I started my pottery journey. I love making birch bark pottery and have developed my signature style.
Made on the potters wheel and then altered by hand. The outside is textured and has some underglaze, the Inside is glazed in green with the speckles showing through, lip and handle are glazed in a the same with colourful specks showing through.
It is very realistic looking and makes for wonderful gifts for that out doorsy person.
Each one I make is ever so slightly different.
It holds 17 oz.
